Alot might not agree with this, but as a child this was my family's music player, I just find so much nostalga with it, and just incase anyone did too, I wanted to tell you its possible! RealPlayer22 (2023) is literally RealPlayer10.5 with a visualstyle AND upgraded codecs for Audio and Video! I just had to simply swap maybe 4 files? ISSUES: trying to scan system for media crashes RealPlayer, the Library doesn't work, that's really all I could find. Toolbar mode works though sometimes it crashes? Maybe another dll inside needs replaced Which didn't originally work with 10.5 because the "Plus" version was required!

I thought my family was the only one that used RealPlayer. Really cool find!

Totally forgot to upload this lol
-My Library doesn't work, but I did fix it from crashing at the very lease -Cannot create Playlist - You can use the web im pretty sure -Not sure how well the CD burn and transfer works as I don't have a CD drive, but you could replace it with the modern one - Visualizations work - Preferences won't open -the file extension for the audio files is black for some reason - these could probably be fixed as they've barely changed much since 2005 tbh, I just don't know where to start
all you gotta do is extract normal.vs into the RealPlayer directory, I am using the latest RealPlayer but I turned off auto updates, and the bloat shit in preferences (before replacing the normal.vs, probably back up your normal.vs incase)
the attachment is the required normal.vs to use
Attachments:normal.7z (494.26 KB)
