Tried with a Windows 7-like visual style. I found an additional bug; the menu bar is displayed with the classic theme when TrueTransparency is enabled. I think this is a developer oversight, because in Windows XP the menu bar is never themed (so it wasn't a problem). Without TT :  With TT :  The other main problem is really the speed, TT slowed down the whole system. However, it seems to me that it is the same for StarDock products (WindowsBlind and Curtains). But TT is free, is a perfect replacement for Curtain (UWP/Metro applications are supported, by an incredible coincidence).  Finally, TT is quite unstable; sometimes there are tears and crashes. Noted that it seems to be an almost fully fledged window manager, AeroSnape and AeroShake element management is handled by TT. There is a system of exclusion in case a program is really not compatible with TT (for example, a program which has its own title bar). It's a shame that TT isn't open-source. EDIT : Maybe part of the instability stems from the fact that TT isn't meant to be run on top of DWM. One should try to run it without DWM. |

Please do try to contact the developer, this is awesome! I'll try, but I can't guarantee anything, the only way I found to contact him is on the forum he administered. This forum has not been active for years (last login was in 2014). If I don't have an answer, I hope to find a way to decompile the program, I don't know if it's possible. |

Honestly now that the DWM patch is out I'd rather just aeroglass 2 instead of this for newer versions.

Since when does Aeroglass 2 exist? You haven't heard about the uDWM patch on classicserv, meaning that aeroglass 2 is likely coming soon? Can you elaborate a little further into that? That sounds interesting. |
