This is my attempt at a 1:1 Windows 7 Replica in Windows 10 Ver 1909! Massive thank you to Windows 10-7 on both DeviantArt and WinClassic for the resources used! Sadly whilst Ribbon is mostly working, it is a little broken, displaying as Brown instead of Blue. If you know how to fix it, let me know! .

I think you're using the clear substyle instead of sky, the majority of my editing went to "Sky" but overall that looks really good! Thank you for using : D

How'd you get the control panel blue sidebar w/ reflections with the windowblinds theme applied? I get it with the msstyle, but when I apply the wblinds theme it turns white. Also, were you able to restore the tray highlights? When I hover over the tray it doesn't highlight the item like it does with vanilla startisback (no windowblinds). Also, does your taskbar break whenever you open two instances of one app? When I do this, it works normally, but when I drag the app forward and then backwards it does the winxp effect. If I close the second instance it permanently breaks it like this and the app at the end always appears to have two open when it has one, as well.

Like in Vista/7, Windows 8-11 still relies on an image to show the control panel sidebar, so I used 7tsp to replace it! 2. Yes, that was working 3. No, but it does when I change the wallpaper, theme or restart.

Besides that, it's not good with any DPI scaling higher than 100% (96 dpi). As for using a visual style, for the caption buttons, if you don't mind using Basic Theme instead of Aero, you can use any of the BasicThemer variants (BasicThemer3, 4, 5, etc.) and the WindHawk mod in this thread: winclassic.net/thread/1669/fix-caption-buttons-fullscreen . Just make sure to download the cpp file in a later post instead of copy pasting the second post.

Personally I don't like basic theme. Why settle for that when you can get normal aero glass, albeit slightly buggier. Only reason I see is startisback compatibility. I can't seem to get the taskbar tray highlights to work with Windows 10-7's instructions, they just disappear. I'm not going to use 1909 because I need 2004+ for hardware accelerated gpu scheduling.

Amazing transformation, it looks very good indeed. However it's so infuriating how MS forces us to hinge on third party apps for this owing to how they broke the navigation bar and moved so many important things to the ugly Settings app. By the way, how did you get Startisback++ working with WB? By using Windows10-7's patched sky theme? 1. Like in Vista/7, Windows 8-11 still relies on an image to show the control panel sidebar, so I used 7tsp to replace it! 2. Yes, that was working 3. No, but it does when I change the wallpaper, theme or restart. That's quite interesting. Do you need to get that Control Panel image from Windows 7 or is it already in 7tsp? Btw, you need to replace these files with their Windows 7 counterparts: UIRibbon.dll UIRibbon_Res.dll UIRibbon.dll.mui All in System32 and its en-US Folder Oh thank you a lot, I was looking for this. I already knew those Ribbon files from Windows 7 but I thought they were changed in Windows 10. Does that also change the explorer ribbon?

1. Yes I did 2. I extracted the 7 Control Panel Sidebar from Ojas' 10to7 and made my own 7TSP Package. I can provide a download if you want 3. No sadly, it only changes the ribbon in Paint and Wordpad. Also, if you use WindowBlinds, Ribbon will show up as Brown.

Thank you for the information. Did you experience any problem with Windows 10-7's sky theme with startisback++? I saw on his thread some people still went through problems with Startisback++. I wish my computer had Windows 7 drivers so I could downgrade it too, but it's a gaming computer with forced Windows 10 drivers, not even Windows 10 1607 is compatible. Yeah if you can you could provide a download link of that, thanks! Why does Ribbon show up as brown with WindowBlinds? A thing I've noticed too with WindowsBlinds is that the caption text of Openshell's start menu becomes smaller too with the Windows 7 theme.
