How do I change the system information on Windows 11 to show as Windows 7 Build 7601 and © 2009 Microsoft Corporation ?
Because I am making Windows 11 to look like Windows 7 and I would like if the system info was like the Windows 7 one.
Also I used explorerpatcher to restore the control panel System Info page.

Edit all DLL and MUI files found in C:\Windows\Branding. The MUI files contain the OS name and copyright info. basebrd.dll contains the winver banner, and shellbrd.dll contains the System Control Panel banner. |

I tried modifying the MUI file's info (copyright date and version name) using resource hacker with take ownership and when I click save after changing the info it does nothing. ![]() Is it due to the Windows 7 branding files being different from Windows 11's branding files ? |
