How'd you fix the black on the explorer? (I'm using Basicthemer on 8.1 though I'm curious as to how you found a workaround on 10).   |

How'd you fix the black on the explorer? (I'm using Basicthemer on 8.1 though I'm curious as to how you found a workaround on 10).  I don't know either. My biggest guess though is that Alcatel's Windows 7 theme for Windows 10 has fixed the issue. |

I believe this uses DwmExtendFrameIntoClientArea in Windows 8.1 if it can detect if DWM composition is active, and never does on Windows 10. It is trying to render transparency (for Aero Glass) here, but failing.
