Which files does windows slideshow use? It's Auxiliary***.dll. But this CPL had been stuck in Windows 7 forever, and it won't display by default in Windows 7. So you can't restore it in modern Windows. (Windhawk mod can restore the CPL item ONLY) Also Windows 7 cannot restore Vista's Windows Sideshow for unknown reasons.

In modern Windows, some legacy applets like Windows 8 Action Center CPL, Windows 8 themecpl and Windows 7 intl.cpl will work with dui71.dll trick? 8 action center yes 8 themecpl no Windows 7 intl.cpl no 8 action center is extremely unstable. Crashes explorer every time you close the window.

Brawllux , is there any way I can help speed up the development? Because people really want V4.0 I still didn't finish DUI patching the pages, currently adding last touches on some of the edited 10/8.X pages. Attachments:

Because I can’t get it to show properly, it only shows the picture selection screen

Nice, do you think you can restore the old update service? Because if you try to check for updates at the minute it will just say that the service isn’t running even if if it’s running

But in the end it didn't work, still cannot check. So I had to give up PS: At that time, I could get Windows Ultimate Extras to work on Windows Update (only Vista) in Windows 7.

If you can restore the CardSpace service, then you can restore this, what the problem is is that the service isn’t running too new for it to run, either that or we downgrade Windows Update Agent (wua) and try that

Yes you can. The cons is when you click check for updates, the progress bar won't show and directly show you a "cannot check for" message lol

It should rely on lots of other components and files compared to cardspace. It might be possible to get some stuff working but certainly not old windows update.

No, but enderman on YouTube replaced his entire installation with windows xp files and automatic updates and date and time were restored but auto updates wasn’t functional and it took forever to open, windows xp joy.cpl I had restores on some earlier page, accessibly options can be restored but not just with the application, when I copied the whole windows folder from xp once I got it to show, but if you change stuff it messes up your fonts.
