Does replacing consent.exe with older version or version from Win8.1 make the UAC prompt classic on Win10?

I tried both Win7 and Win8 version and this happens: We can only hope that MS won't remove the registry tweak to disable immersive UAC prompt.

O: c) Good thing the immersive prompt atleast works with the Classic Theme enabled...

a) I don't have any older Win10 versions so i didn't check that, it might work. b) Just change the value of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\TestHooks\XamlCredUIAvailable to 0. This tweak was already used here. c) Yeah, but it doesn't work with DWM disabled.

We can only hope that MS won't remove the registry tweak to disable immersive UAC prompt. It has been removed in November, 2016. But might work with older consent.exe

Looks like I have 'Defer Upgrades' option turned on... I'm still on build 14393.

I got automatically updated to 14393.953 today, the legacy UAC prompt appears to be working still. Not sure if this is just only Windows Server 2016 related, haven't been able to check on regular Windows 10 yet.
