Just noticed that I didn't to DUI71 trick. Now the page doesn't crash when i click something, but archived messages page lost its functionality after this. Edit: Still crashes explorer when you close the window after navigating to Action Center I couldn't find the DUI70 in action center when editing with a hex editor. I found it in the actioncentercpl.dll and I am having the exact same issue as you. It opens, but doesn't do anything. Maybe you need another actioncenter dll that you can edit DUI70 -> 71 in? |

You should check 8.0 version of this page. It has more features than this one but very unstable unfortunately. It crashes too much. I've done that after posting this (I also copied ActionCenter.dll) on 1803 and it's very stable for me. No crashes, and i can access any page. The only issue is a link that doesn't do anything (Windows Activation). So it seems newer versions broke it. Even the tray icon works fine and isn't unusually long. How did you get that icon? I really want that action center tray back |

You'll hear mixed answers, with some telling you to use 8.1's version of it, and some others telling you to use 8.0's version of it. As for me 8.0's version worked fine, but if it doesn't you can try 8.1's version as well.

As for me 8.0's version worked fine, but if it doesn't you can try 8.1's version as well. I'm gonna go for 8.1 since I have a ready ISO. Which files? Just ActionCenter.dll and ActionCenterCPL.dll (with their respective MUIs)? |

I got 8.1's center to work on 10, but the artifact of it is it crashes any open explorer windows (not the taskbar or dekstop) but apart from that, it works mostly fine. I replaced both and have a working icon after restart. |
