DISCLAIMER: These are pretty much only for show, they don't function. Security Center
For Security Center, you'll need the following files from a copy of Windows Vista: wscapi.dll wscui.cpl wscui.cpl.mui Rename wscui.cpl and wscui.cpl.mui to something different, but make sure both files have the same name (for example vscui.cpl and vscui.cpl.mui). This is to prevent a redirection to the modern-day Security and Maintenance/Action Center page Place the MUI file in an en-US folder (or a folder that corresponds to your locale) Open wscui.cpl in a hex editor Open the "replace" dialog, and replace all occurences of wscapi.dll to something else, like vscapi.dll (make sure the amount of characters and extension stay the same) Rename wscapi.dll to vscapi.dll If you have the Security Center service on, it'll display everything as "Not Compatible" If you have it off, it will say it's off. Firewall Get these files from a copy of Windows Vista: FirewallControlPanel.exe FirewallControlPanel.exe.mui That's it. It'll just run. If you click on any of the firewall-related links, you'll get an error complaining that FirewallSettings.exe was not found. You can get it and it's mui from Vista, but then it'll complain about a missing entry in firewall.cpl. You can get the Vista version of it and hex-edit FirewallSettings.exe to point to that instead, but then you'll just get nothing.

Can you provide a download link for the files

So, I deepened a little more into the topic. I could achieve a seemingly working firewall. Yes, in fact, 10 is residual from Windows 7 Firewall in high safety mode. And the replacement of the Firewall API will break down then already original. But I just took from Vista, renamed it. In the firewall control panel changed the dependence, and in the firewall.cpl(from vista. idk how it depend on performance). It turned out that I have an original API and from Vista. As I understand it, the original Firewall and from Vista will really work. UPD: I checked, the Firewall interface from vista really allows you to turn off the protection and turn on, and this will be displayed in the original Firewall interfaces. I use Win 10 Pro 22H2. How you can see - I can use Vista Firewall, and original High Safety mode Firewall and they are synchronized

Superb discovery. It would be nice too if you gave the file names as well.

Superb discovery. It would be nice too if you gave the file names as well. Well, u need take from Vista: - FirewallAPI.dll(rename it to FirevistAPI.dll - because same number of letters)
- Firewall.cpl(idk what it should change, but it contains link to FirewallAPI.dll, and change dependence from FirewallAPI.dll to FirevistAPI.dll)
- FirewallControlPanel.exe(also contains link to FirewallAPI.dll, such in .cpl change all links from FirewallAPI.dll to FirevistAPI.dll)
- FirewallSettings.exe(take without changes)
Also i saw that FirewallControlPanel.dll has dependence for FirewallAPI.dll, but need to check how it will works with API from Vista.

Links changes in FirewallControlPanel.dll breaks the page in Control Panel. Maybe need to work with register, but idk how can make redirect from Firewall Applet to FirewallControlPanel.exe like in Vista
