I installed the cool theme at windows7themenew2.carrd.co/ a bit ago, and for the most part I like it. However, one thing that has been bothering me is the solid color title bar backgrounds. How can this be fixed? I am using the uDWM patch provided with the download, and SecureUxTheme tool. Running Windows 10 22H2.

I think using WindowBlinds with the BetterAero7X or Aero7XReset skin would fix this issue. Normally, on older versions, a program to patch Aero Glass (Glass8) could be downloaded and used, but it has sadly not been updated since 2019 and will not work beyond Windows 10 1909.

The text rendering portion of Glass8 still works under 22H2, so that should fix the issue.

Probably worth noting for anyone reading this thread that the use of WindowBlinds isn't really a feasible solution to the OP's issue (or anything in general in 2023 or later, to be honest) as it results in other negative impacts (such as to performance), as well as decreasing visual immersion and creating more inaccuracies as a result of the software's tendency to hardcode values which are fundamentally incompatible with the way that Windows Vista or later look.

You cannot get the transparency back.
