So yesterday I installed the windows 10 classic theme, the batch file method, I was following Endermanch's tutorial: youtu.be/lvqhd9jFeX8. And then later on, when I was done, I got a little annoyed with the blank menu, so I wanted to revert it back, so in the script I typed in D for Disable, and it was mostly gone, the window frame was still kinda weird but it got fixed when I restarted my PC. But then I noticed that the menu still has that classic theme frame around it, smooth scrolling is gone and some apps (such as MS Paint) look old. For the smooth scrolling I thought I'd just have to enable the animations in the ease of access, but that didn't work, so I began to worry a lot. Why are there still some leftovers of the classic theme? I feel really stupid for doing it on an actual OS rather than a VM, or at least rather than making a recovery point, I know I did something stupid but I beg you, is there any way I can fully revert it all?

I think you need to use the script as admin to disable everything - re-run the script as admin, press E to install (I think it's E, it's been a while), log out and back in, then re-run the script, again as admin, and hit D to disable it - that should restore everything to default.

Make a specific list of what's causing the problem, and I'll be able to tell you how to undo each change.

Well I managed to fix the white frame around every menu by simply applying the standard windows 10 theme in the personalization settings (below I'll put an image of how did it look like)
But currently I spotted 2 issues that I couldn't find any fix to: - No smooth scrolling and also in some browsers the animations of f.e. tabs getting closed are gone - Classic-looking apps such as MS Paint or Wordpad - in the start menu when I search for paint it shows the icon for the current win10 paint, but when I open it, it shows me the old icon, I'll put screenshots below Strangely enough, wordpad seems to have 3 icons, a more pixel-art looking one in the window frame, the modern one in the start menu and a more notepad looking one in the taskbar... I will really appreciate it if you actually can help me out with all this, I'll also let you know if I spot any other issues that I don't know how to fix.

As for the menu, I don't really see why it does that, it's quite strange. For Paint and WordPad, you can provide me with the original executables, I could see if these are the old ones or the recent ones. Paint stored at "C:\Windows\system32\mspaint.exe" and "C:\Windows\syswow64\mspaint.exe" WordPad is stored at "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe". It is possible that the old ones are replaced by the recent ones, in which case it is necessary to rename the recent ones with the original name (in the case where they have been renamed under a name such as mspaint.exe.old) or restore them from another system. It is also possible that the recent ones are still present with the original names, but that there is an automatic redirection set up (this is what happens for the classic task manager downloadable in Winaero).

I enabled the animations in ease of access and selected adjust for best appearence in the performance system settings, but it did nothing...

I'm actually using a modification that you've probably heard about - Tiny10 21H2 I also use 21H2, so I think it's possible to import the executables from my system. Concerning smooth scrolling, the article describes a way to activate it through the system, using the mouse control panel. Apparently, using the Performance Options control panel only enables smooth scrolling in Edge. Here's another article that says pretty much the same thing : risewindows.com/how-to-turn-on-or-off-smooth-scrolling-on-windows-11-10-chrome-edge-firefox-and-opera/

I also noticed just now that I think calculator also has been affected, it has been changed to the win7 one, but that's actually a good thing for me, I really like that calculator. My discord is rysiequ without any caps if it's needed. About the smooth scrolling, welp, that kinda sucks, but I guess I can live with it, it's not that big of a deal.

Try running these commands: sfc /scanfile=C:\Windows\system32\mspaint.exe then the same command, but with the path to Wordpad (i don't remember it's exact location at the moment)
