You could also use Palemoon, site compatibility increased dramatically for me with the latest update Oh for real? : o (ok i tested , its really better!)

Oh yeah, by better I mean like it is totally usable as a daily driver for most people these days! It's handling Javascript like a dream. As per usual you're trading ram usage for raw speed, but if you don't mind that it's great, or better yet if you're a mad power user who constantly has a million tabs open then I'd argue it's actually superior to current day Firefox

Edit: I checked for myself and from my own experience it's still quite slow
