For over ten days I can run Windows 10 with the classic theme, then afterwards Windows 10 breaks itself and I start getting a BSOD that something is very broken with Windows 10.
The only fix I can think of is to have a recovery image, system restore point or a previous version of Windows 10 when it breaks, though at least I should be happy it runs at all on Windows 10.

So does it consistently break after the same duration every time it breaks? Is it always exactly 10 days, or...?

Well usually it works for a few days and breaks, one time when I upgraded my copy of Windows 10 to a newer version it broke less then a day, though sometimes I wondered if its the Vista explorer as event viewer mentions something about COM file errors. Though I'm not sure completely I doubt it's the Vista explorer.
