It looks like a black rectangle, can't seem to figure out what is causing this. Showing all icons fixes it by removing it altogether... but I would like to hide some icons ideally and not have that ugly box lol. Any ideas on how to get the arrow back or to change it to something else altogether?

If the button works, it seems you have a problem with fonts. Particularly, check if you accidentally substituted the Webdings font.

It changes depending on the color scheme, I tried different colors in desk2cpl and they make it look like this:
Maybe it's using the wrong character? Idk!

Well, I also have it looking like 3 dots:
Possibly, the color schemes specify different fonts.

I see, it is broken like that for everyone... I thought it was just me. I was trying to get the 3 dots look like this >> symbol, which funnily enough displays correctly on my taskbar in the pinned items:
But maybe, since it looks like it's dependent on fonts and characters, someone can figure out a way to have it display the correct symbol

I also have the same issue, but cannot find a way to fix it. I don't know why my quick launch arrow ">>" displayed correctly, but for the tray, it is a "3-dots" icon
