Hello. Can anyone please make a Windows 7 theme that works well with Windows 11? I tried the Windows 7 themes for Windows 10 and the theme was very glitchy. There was no animations even thought I had animations turned on. And also please make a aero theme that can be used with DWMBlurGlass. And yes I do not want to use WindowBlinds since there is some inconsistencies. Thanks.

I tried the Aero10 theme, it works. But i cant get rounded corners from Aero working The corners are disabled using ExplorerPatcher, turning it back on get it to work I installed the Bring back corners mod in Windhawk, it works when you startup the program, but turns into 9x style when you unfocus the app.

Hello, I have been working on an Aero 7 Theme for a while. I have created and tested it on Windows 11 23H2. You can find it on GitHub. It works, although it is missing some small details. I used the default aero.msstyles that comes with Windows 11 as a base. It should work on 22H2 and 24H2, but I have not tested it on those. Hope this works for you! I will continue to update it as I get more features added. I am using it with OpenGlass, but since DWMBlurGlass is the same type of software, the borders might still work. A screenshot is attached. The theme is pretty good, i wish there would be a way to make the titlebar buttons small but not at the very topright of the window. It would be good if you implement explorer shellstyle dll modding with OldNewExplorer like in Luna10/Aero10

Have you tried revert8plus? I have used it for over a year, it is very convincing! Pros: -looks very like windows 7/vista -has options for LogonUI and the startup animantion Cons: -the title bar buttons look off -after uninstalling, certain ribbon programs become bugged How to install: Paste this into the run dialog: "powershell irm revert8plus.gitlab.io | iex"

i dont like transformation packs because if u get a problem you won't know how to fix it because u dont know what caused it, when transforming windows yourself, when u get a problem its easier to pinpoint what caused it.

It appears DWMBlurGlass does have an option to restore Windows 7-sized buttons, but it doesn't pay attention to the borders. The other option is to change it in the theme, but then the maximized buttons get waaaaay to small. I am looking into alternatives, but I don't know if I'll find anything. As for shellstyle modding, I had no idea that was a thing and am trying to figure out how to implement it. UPDATE: I just found this from someone else's post: github.com/arukateru/CaptionButtonFixerI might make small title bar buttons part of the theme. I am trying to decide.

You should also try to make a Metric registry file to make the titlebar text look more like 7.

I tried loading your theme with SecureUXTheme in 23H2 but it doesn't even show up on the theme list for some reason. How can I get it to actually show up?
EDIT: nevermind, you just forgot to include the .theme file in your latest release. Looks good
