Well I installed a fresh version of Windows 11 24H2 or whatever it's called on VMWare just to make sure no other mods are causing it. Used regedit to activate SyslistView32 and the issues are the same. Lag when openening folders and it doesn't remember the order or where I drag things to in folders.
So we can surmise that the latest version of Windows 11 breaks SyslistView32. Makes me want to switch to an earlier version when I 'upgrade' from my current 8.1 install.

ExplorerFrame.dll both on 23h2 and 24h4 are not compatible with Classic theme. One needs to get ExplorerFrame.dll from build 22000. Did you try ExplorerFrame.dll from here?

Well I did on my actual Windows 11 install that I referred to earlier in this thread but I admit I forgot that in my emulator install in my last post.

Same story. ExplorerFrame.dll still delay opening folders and hitting F5 or opening and closing folders the contents revert back to default. Replaced Explorer.exe black screen upon login like I mentioned in that thread you linked to above.

Hmm pretty sure I done that. Unchecked align to grid and autosort. Perhaps the feature to remember has been removed in stupid Windows 11? It has been removed/broken in 1709 I don't know exactly before it worked fine. Till 1703 everthing worked fine as intended and the order was kept.
