5.All aspects of the program that save are now all in one json file rather then mutiple txt files.
FYI make sure when you run the program for the first time select a drive quit the program fully and reopen it for the disk activity to work this is a issue ive been looking into and have not found a resolution

Good job, i have another idea , you can simulate the Cdrom working too by replacing the HDD load by a CDplayer sound (i feel in the past cd rom was like ASMR for me hhh~ )
The last update that can be maybe done, is to separate ambiant and HDD sound option letting you choose the background noise separatly , i did it manually by replacing some file in a new folder.

ha, my PC is still as noisy as a tractor.
trying to mute it as much as I can, but can't say I succeeded at it... much.
never thought people could get bored of silence and start making it more noisy = )
I'm doing a small home recording studio, and silence is actually vital to the whole process, so... yeah.

Hello all its been a little while here is another update. Addition of the following drives Miniscribe 8450 Daeyoung DX-3120A Seagate ST-157N Rodime RO352 Lexikon HD352 Micropolis Mustang 4540A Goldstar CD ROM 2.Changed some of the naming schemes for better context 3.buttons in the theme/options window now theme. 4.These are placeholder items for now but also in the options menu is a checkmark for a start on startup and a drive selection dropdown these do not work yet. 5.
