Neither graphic drivers, not chipset drivers from AMD for Windows 8.1 will receive any updates any more.

Intel also only supports Windows 10 now. The last i7 that officially supports Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 is the Skylake i7-6700k. It seems that Microsoft is really pushing hardware manufacturers to only support Windows 10. They really want people to upgrade. But that's not really news, is it? I'm pretty sure their malware-esque free upgrade campaign already made that pretty obvious.

Posting this from a classic themed win10 with nuked metro and deleted bloatware such as cortana and the likes , win10 is not that bad thanks to this forum but really win8.1 is horrible as os very unstable even windows to go feature has multiple bugs .

Its a feature making it possible to boot a full windows 8.0 from a usb key windows 8.1 broke that feature and if you try to boot from a small flashdrive u will find that it bootloops indefinately . Now they fixed it in windows 10 might be a hint why its logical to abandon ship on 8.1 too many bugs personally i support that decision cause i never liked win8 or 8.1 buggy as hell compared to a fully classictheme stripmodded win10 system without the extra bloat . Cant hate progress when we have the best windows forum in the world here full of awesome people.
