Since no other Chromium browsers than Supermium have the ability to turn off the Windows 10 custom titlebar anymore, I was wondering if such a mod in Windhawk could be written to bring back the feature.

The OP is already aware. One could try messing around with the "Mica" titlebar options in Chrome, which are really the native titlebar under a disguise and OS version gate.
