I am noticing that here and on ClassicServ a lot of new users seem confused about what to do when starting out with Classic Theme. A lot of older users coming back into the scene (including me) also seem to have trouble finding their way around the current landscape. I think it is about time we create a collection of guides and links to tools in which users can easily find information instead of scavenging between all the discussions.
I want to update and improve the existing unofficial WinClassic Wiki (https://winclassic.github.io/) to add as much clarity and information as possible. I specifically want to do this outside of the forum to avoid any clutter. This will be a website for information retrieval only. If anyone is willing to write some guides or just provide general information on the current state of CT, please message me. This could really help make it easier for new members find their way into using Classic Theme.
(P.S. for R.O.B.: If you're not okay with this feel free to delete the thread, but I hope you can see the potential in this)

Hello leet , Personally, I agree with this initiative. I think what needs to be determined is what is best to add in the unofficial wiki, and what is best to add in information pinned threads in certain sections of the forum. For many subjects, the two are complementary. As for information pinned threads , I was planning to write some.
Moreover, for the wiki, it is perhaps possible to make it more "official" by making it collaborative, with an authorization system close to what we can see, for example, on BetaWiki, but in addition restraint (like “only approved contributors can write articles”). I don't know if this is a good idea at all.

The unofficial wiki is already collaborative. There's a GitHub repository (https://github.com/WinClassic/winclassic.github.io) where anyone can post issues or make pull requests. Any commits made to this repo will be on the website within 5 minutes. I can also give people permissions to make commits without having to make pull requests first. The syntax for pages is just markdown, which is very easy to write in.
The main things I want to add are: - an extensive beginners guide (preferably not a single method, but several options to choose from) - a page explaining what all software utilities do (like EP, Windhawk, Open-Shell, etc) - a page with commonly used scripts and windhawk mods with explanations on what they do

leet Oh okay, I didn't realize that this wiki was directly hosted on Github. In this case, I take back what I said, the way it works already seems perfect to me.
