I cannot seem to fix it in any way. I guess I'll have to dig deeper for a solution to this.

it seems there are no symbols missing. the log shows no failed symbol errors. I am running 10 22H2.
I'm starting to get annoyed by this issue. No matter what I attempt it keeps failing to run without the .EXE, and symbols are not the issue. I might just abandon this if there are no success stories.

I also tried doing resgvr32, but to no avail.

It's still calling DUI70.dll somewhere, I've replaced two files to DUI71 xwtpdui and van.dll need it. Don't remember the others. Also I hope you didn't forget to copy 8 dui70 and rename it to dui71. 8.0's van.dll? I copid sevens and renamed it to DUI71. Would 8.1's van.dll and MUI Work? I don't know how I didn't see this earlier... I will try 8.1's

I am very puzzled. Only the EXE works as expected...

I'm completely out of ideas. Until or if there is a documented way to fix this issue I am abandoning this. Not a big deal that I have no WiFi flyout tho, I am already connected to the internet.

Did you allow windhawk to inject into system processes? If you did not; open windhawk, settings, advanced settings, more advanced settings. Remove <critical_system_process> from the exclusion list. It prompt you to restart windhawk.

try using the dlls i provided, never had issues on any windows builds people had it on using my dlls, the reason the exe works is because it forces the window to show

Only the EXE. The windhawk mod also fails to work. I have tried absolutely everything.

If there was a way I could make the CMD window be completely invisible and remove the tray icon if I set the app to startup (which I cannot) I wouldn't need to do much.
But I guess I will have to wait till I find a solution.

Hi technicalissues, I've written a batch file for you. Here's the video: uploadnow.io/s/f9de845b-c410-4fa2-8167-e1af14873e84?o=t and here's the file: mega.nz/file/zehGQKZD#tF-efbs-Q-NSS4tBBMWWYfk-gNNkQLW54bOPd2KnnscImportant: Copy the folder to drive C:\ Run the batch file as an administrator Make sure the files dui70.dll and dui71.dll are present in System32. Please do not modify them. I wish you great success!

It sets permissions to a non-existing user on my PC 3. It does the exact same thing as installing the files 4. It does everything I have already done. 5. It copies the files to System, not System32? This won't be useful sadly. Thank you for the batch file though.

Thank you for the batch file though. He backs up the original files in System before they are replaced in System32. This allows for the restoration of the original files if needed. Do you have the original file for dui70.dll? It must remain unchanged and cannot be altered. The batch file changes the user permissions to gain the rights to replace them. Can I assist you with anything else? Do you perhaps have an error message?

I hope you didnt forget to copy the mui's. I sent the list of EVERY file you need. Together with the required reg files combined into one. Do not import the reg as TrustedInstaller. Just double click it and import. Attachments:
net.reg (58.08 KB)
