Startallback has reimplemented taskbar,it is not the Windows 10 taskbar you know. Just like the start menu it is reverse engineered. Thank you, I understand better. And from the screenshot, this taskbar seems to support Win32 controls well, without Metroified elements (and therefore logically the classic theme). It won't be very difficult for ExplorerPatcher to reimplement it too. If it's not the bar from the original W10, it's fine, it's cool, it looks like it's from the W10 because the features are there, I hope EP can do it too, although only startallback solves the problems here, even the context menu with a classic theme is all working ok, I was curious. if it was starallback that implemented it too

Hello, I have also noticed that the Windows 10 taskbar no longer works with EP on Windows 11 LTSC beta version (26100.1.240331). I installed EP version (22621.3527.65.5). First, thank you for the tip on renaming the executable file. I tried several things at the beginning, including trying to block, disable, delete, or even corrupt the Program Compatibility Assistant without success. (I am testing Win 11 LTSC in a virtual machine.) Additionally, I've noticed that when you activate the classic menu bars feature in the file explorer, as in Windows 7, it no longer works. I sincerely hope this will be fixed as well! Does anyone have any news on a possible update that would fix this?"●

Unfortunately, it didn't work. So, I created a virtual machine with Windows 11, 23H2, and copied the explorer.exe file from this VM to my virtual machine running Windows 11 LTSC. First thing: since the file explorer was obviously running, I simply took the correct explorer.exe (from 23H2) and copied it into my Documents folder on my Windows 11 LTSC VM. Then, using the registry, I changed the location where the system should look for explorer.exe. When I restarted, I was met with a black screen and the menus no longer worked. So, I restored the original file for now...

Instead of changing the location in the registry, open a CMD with Trusted Installer privileges, end explorer.exe and make a backup and replace it via the CMD.

Hello, I managed to replace it by using NSudo to open cmd with TrustedInstaller privileges. I replaced explorer.exe from 24H2 with the one from 23H2 in safe mode, but ultimately, there was no change. Initially, the classic Windows 7 menu bar appeared in my file explorer for a few seconds (it was configured like that with EP), but unfortunately, it quickly reverted back to the previous state.

Try enabling the windows 10 taskbar to see if it fixes, Windows 7 command bar never worked for me in 23h2

Hello, Thank you for the suggestion. However, unfortunately, the ribbon bar in Windows 10 still does not work. I have two things I can potentially try: replace the explorer.exe file with the one from Windows 11 22H2, where I am sure everything works, or, perhaps a better idea, wait patiently for a new version that will hopefully fix all these issues.

Copy explorer from 22h2 then. You must be a hopeful person if you think Microsoftt will fix it

I can literally enable ribbon ui and 7 commandbar in 11 24H2. Are you sure that you arent doing anything wrong? Attachments:

I don't know, I installed the latest version of EP, the one from May 15th. The only thing I can think of is that I'm using Windows 11 in LTSC preview, but I don't think that's the reason... I can also reinstall my VM completely to test it...
