I wanted to draw attention to two problems I have with this mod. The first has already been described: the mod does not apply to the photo viewer. This is because dllhost.exe is considered a critical process by Windhawk. Adding "// @include dllhost.exe" fixes the issue. aubymori can you update the mod ?
The other problem has, to my knowledge, not been reported. With the default configuration, the taskbar turns black. There are only two workarounds : launch the explorer before the mod (as the explorer windows are hooked on the fly, it works) ; but this blocks customization options in the taskbar in Open-Shell (and probably in other programs). The second solution is to use the version of Open-Shell patched for the classic theme. With the classic theme, the 2nd solution is used almost all the time, which makes the issue invisible. It is with the basic theme that this issue arise. |

Use "Classic Theme transparency fix" mod instead (but honestly I did not experience the black taskbar issue).

An update to the mod isn't necessary, you can just configure Windhawk to inject into dllhost.exe through its advanced options. |
