I don't know any programming languages, but i managed to fix the Getting Started Applet, so that personalization actually redirects the user to the personalization page and other. This is based on the Getting Started Applet from Win8to7-TP-Backend - github.com/dominichayesferen/Win8To7-TP-Backend. gettingstarted.applet and the .reg files are from the Getting Started that Brawlux and neptuneen made. I give full credits to them.
I also made a Polish version, so if someone wants to check it out, here you go!
The compiled .exe will be in Getting Started\Win8To7 Getting Started\bin\x64\Release
How to install it:
1. Rename the Windows 7 Getting Started.exe to GettingStarted.exe
2. Copy GettingStarted.exe and gettingstarted.applet and paste them into System32 3. Import the .reg files normally
also, if you find any bugs, please post them here and i will try to fix them (or post the solution for that bug)

the dropdown icons looks horrible, u should fix it

the dropdown icons looks horrible, u should fix it if you meant the black bars, it only happenes when the window inn't focused. if you mean anything else, i don't know what are you talking about lol |

if you meant the black bars, it only happenes when the window inn't focused. if you mean anything else, i don't know what are you talking about lol i mean this one, it looks off sadly, these are images, but you can change their width easily in the visual basic project. just open the project in visual basic and change it. i can fix it, but now i'm focusing on my polish 10to7 mod |

Where Windows Vista Welcome Center? someone would need to make it. as i said in the post, i don't know any programming lanuages, but i was able to fix the button redirecting elsewhere, cause i looked at the code and saw that if i want to execute a shell::: command, i needed to use something else then it was using. |
