any documentation/tutorials/tips/anything on duixml?

im trying to develop a plex- like theme for windows 10, and im trying to modify the shellstyle uifiles to make it better, but alas i cant find ANY tips or documentation anywhere on the net. maybe im just not looking hard enough, and using trial and error is very very frustrating. it would be really helpful if there was like a public database for this stuff ...
