1. Rename tabletpc.cpl and tabletpc.cpl.mui with a ".old" at the end. 2. Grab these files from Windows Vista SP2: - tabletpc.cpl
- tabletpc.cpl.mui
- UIHub.dll
- UIHub.dll.mui (don't think UIHub is needed, but I found the CPL using it in Windows Vista)
3. Open Regedit as TrustedInstaller and remove "tabletpc.cpl" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Control Panel\don't load 4. You're done! End result should look like this: For comparison, here's the pen and Tablet PC applets from a stock version of Windows 10.
