Hi guys. After installing the throbber, and hiding the top Address bar, it deleted the Search box. Is there a way to get classic Search menu back (Windows 2000 styled or something)? How to Search for files now? Attachments:

How to Search for files now? That is what is intended to happen, you changed the stock address bar with one that replicates Windows 2000 address bar,and 2000 addres bar did not have search box there. If you want it back you need to revert that change. |

So Windows Search has to be replaced with something like Agent Ransack?

Is there a way to bring this search menu or something? Oh how I wish. The closet to it is FileSearchEX, but it's commercial software and costs $100, which is insane. Just use "Everything" by Voidtools and have it set to a button on the Classic Shell Explorer toolbar if you have that installed. Both of them are free, and really good. |

By the way, can you recommend the most stable way to disable title Bar in Windows 7 Explorer?
I've tried AddressBarRemover2.exe fix, but after rebooting or logging out it doesn't work on restored folders from previous logon (I have to manually open new Explorer window to make it work, and it only works on newly opened windows)
Maybe there is some ResHack fix or something?
