This old version of this utility tool program is now possible to restore. Here is what you'll need to do: Grab these files from a Windows Vista ISO: C:\Windows\System32\cleanmgr.exe C:\Windows\System32\en-US\cleanmgr.exe.mui Now here's what you should do, to make this program to work: Replace cleanmgr.exe in System32 and replace cleanmgr.exe.mui in en-US. If you're using a different system locale, you can get these files in your language. And when your done, The result should become like this: This can also be done with other versions of this program, such as Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.x or any Windows version that you prefer.

Well, this wouldn't be restorable, if the original utility tool wasn't moved away from the System32 folder. Because many users will mostly rename the file to a different file extension to just keep the different extension file there and replace it with something else they would want to see. But if the user finds anything wrong, they will rename it back to the default file extension and make it work again. Because i'm not bricking anyone's windows installation, they can just keep the original program and continue on, and keep their OS safe. Only when they can find it useful.

The modern version is also in system32,literally no one moved it anywhere. And what "most people" are you talking about? No one "restored" this because it was never removed. Nothing you tell there answers my question.

As you can see, the program does have some differences as compared to the Windows 10 version. And English probably isn't their first language. So yes, for a more accurate Vista transformation, or simply if you preferred the old way the program worked, there is a point to do this.
