Your computer is not even eligible, it will not forcefully upgrade you.

I know, it still annoys me, they said they would support it to 2028 once but at least there will be no more updates breaking classic theme and aero, I still duelboot Windows 11 on a separate partion using regedit to bypass hardware, I love how they show the start menu without bloatware

Well, end of support for Windows 10 and upgrading to Windows 11 is useless!

Windows LTSC 2021 is supported until 2031 it seems to me.
Concerning Windows 11, there are two problems at the moment: - It is not possible to revert to a demetroified explorer without replacing explorerframe.dll, see explorer.exe in the latest version. From what I understand, the taskbar is about to be rewritten; A rewrite of the menu bar and the address bar of the explorer will still be missing. - Then, while in Windows 10, we now have the means to fully control the appearance of DWM, this is not the case in Windows 11, it would absolutely be necessary to port AWM or something similar. Finding the window borders is particularly urgent.

For instance, I had to upgrade from Win8.1 when Wolfram Mathematica's newer version refused to run on it (even though there were still official updates for Win8.1 available!). As to the updates, they are not really needed.
I suspect, it will be WatsApp this time that will force mo to upgrade.

This has nothing to do with Metro. You can demetroify it but there are two issues: the menubar disappears when it is needed and appears when it is not needed and the black background for a fracion of second when opening a folder in classic theme.
Neither is connected to Metro. The first issue appeas under any theme and affects lost of users even who use Windows in default setup (they see a suddenly appearing menubar), so it is more like a general bug.

I feel like both of these issues can theoretically be fixed with a Windhawk mod.
For the rest, I was talking about the address bar being increasingly difficult to demetroify, which poses a problem for some users. For you and me, the problem does not arise, since we do not use an address bar.

The WhatsApp app is really bad, it's a shame there is no third party client like there is for Discord.

Time for me to move to Linux... Windows LTSC 2021 will be supported until 2031, there is still time. Afterwards, the future of Windows starts to worry me. Especially since the average user will not use LTSC 2021. I dare to hope that in 2021, ReactOS will have come a long way. In recent years, it has gained a lot in stability. For me, GNU/Linux is complementary to Windows, one does not replace the other (but it is different for everyone).

Is there a difference between the IOT version and the Enterprise version?
I think I'll be upgrading to LTSC earlier than expected, as I'm having a problem updating to 22H2... Everything installs and then cancels at the last moment.

LTSC 2021 only has support until Jan 2027, the IoT Version has support until Jan 2032 This is because beginning with LTSC 2021, standard LTSC versions only have 5 years of mainstream support (excluding the IoT versions that continue to have extended support, so they get 10 years at total) See here for more info: Microsoft Product Lifecycle Page
I switched over to LTSC 2019 about half a year ago and I am totally fine with it. No microsoft store, no microsoft edge, no immersive apps, almost no unnecessary bloatware

Aside from the duration of support, is there any other difference between the IOT and Enterprise versions ?
Apparently there is some difference in the services process, but nothing problematic.

First of all, thank you for the friendly welcome My experience was similar, I also do not know about any groundbreaking differences. It's more optimized for embedded use, updates and drivers might be slightly different to ensure stability and compatibility with those embedded systems. But other than that, there should be nothing that affects usage.
