Meeting Space got broken in 7's Development so its probably not gonna be functional anytime soon.

I believe at least part of why it doesn't work is due to missing product policies. More specifically, PeerToPeerAdhocMeetings-CreateMeetings, NetworkProjection-CanRunNetworkProjection and PeerToPeerAdhocMeetings-Start. Adding them in isn't feasible without screwing up sppsvc, so the second best option is bypassing the checks.

Assuming that you will manage a way to bypass the checks (since this is a test VM, i just modified the product policy directly), you CAN get to this screen, but not past it. Attachments:Desktop.7z (1.51 MB)

Merging Windows Vista's registry entries relating to Meeting Space doesn't really help, but it's here for anyone who decides to try restoring this themself. (Both files are the same, one is just individual .regs and one is merged) Attachments:reg.reg (29.55 KB)
WCREG.7z (4.02 KB)

You're probably missing the product policies. Adding them isn't a good solution at all, it should be figured out how to bypass the checks for them instead.

Product policies are guarded by the Software Protection Service, so very much unlikely to be able to enable these so bypassing them is most likely the only feasible option.

In Vista I found some services related to P2P. Do these do anything on modern Windows?

Itβs impossible to make Windows Collaboration working properly. Even in Windows 7, it doesn't work too. Although Windows 7 can open People Near Me.
