It’s impossible to make Windows Collaboration working properly. Even in Windows 7, it doesn't work too. Although Windows 7 can open People Near Me. People Near Me is still in Windows 7, it merely got hidden from the Control Panel.

So if it’s a cpl item then we have to go to the dontload control panel key in the registry and delete collab.cpl?

So if it’s a cpl item then we have to go to the dontload control panel key in the registry and delete collab.cpl? Yes, that's exactly what I did to have it show up on Windows 7

So can collab.cpl run on Windows 10? Yes or no? Yes for collab.cpl, no for p2phost.exe that triggered later

So can collab.cpl run on Windows 10? Collab.cpl just launches P2P executable. Nothing is stopping collab.cpl from running, can't say the same for P2P exe tho. I replaced every file related to it but it still complains about a missing ordinal in a dll.
