www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/QTAddressBar.shtmlI used this breadcrumbs address bar towards the end of my XP installation's life to get me used to breadcrumbs before I upgraded to Windows 8.1. In 8.1 I tried in vain to get it to work as I wanted to move the address bar to the bottom of the toolbars (like can be done with ephemeralViolette's Classic Explorer). In Windows 11 it appears to work so it can be used if you want a breadcrumb address bar but at the bottom of the toolbars like in XP. Or even just keep Classic Explorer bar at the bottom and have the QTAddressBar smaller and next to the OpenShell bar, similar to how I had it in XP. This is my old XP explorer with the QT bar. The only issue is that it lacks the word Address on the left and the Go button on the right. Does anyone know a way to modify it to include these? I have also found this: github.com/Longxr/QtAddressBarwhich I am sure could be modified to add these by people who know how to but I have no idea how to compile it in the first place. For now I might just use it like I did in Windows XP.
