But Wikipedia states Google Chrome itself is Closed Source I'm not talking about the thing that builds a Chromium based browser itself... that is what Edge, Vavaldi, Brave, Ungoogled Chromium and everything else uses but the Google Chrome Browser is proprietary freeware while the thing it uses Chromium/Browser Engine is Open Source, that is like saying Edge is Open Source the only thing that's Open Source about it is that its built on top of Chromium like every other browser that is now a days. You should probably consider rereading the original comment from me before continuing.

Yes I know that, but this from Google is Open Soruce en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser) its what Web Browsers are based on including Google Chrome speaking of which that isn't completely Open Source it even states on Wikipedia that it's proprietary. I already looked its what most Chrome Browsers are built off pf you can still make your own proprietary code on top of that base like Edge and Opera.

The Jackal can you delete all posts by NanamiMadobe because they’re complaining about someone’s personalisation of using chrome I don't appreciate NanamiMadobe's aggressive tone, but it doesn't seem to me that it violates the forum rules. Afterwards it will be up to Jackal to decide anyway.

NanamiMadobe Windows 11 is less customizable than Windows 10 because the community cares less about it right now. Several years ago, Windows was no more customizable than Windows 11 is now.

1. i can't downgrade 2. don't wanna use stardock because it has a bunch of bugs and crashing explorer a lot, and i use themepatcher 3. i use google chrome because it's way better than edge, well chrome is the only choice i have because i have google account. And i have Firefox too 4. i use windhawk dude 5. i don't even know what to say anymore - I'm on a better version of Windows. Windows 11 is full of bugs unlike 10
- Understanable
- Nah I think both Edge and Chrome are bad why do you like Google so much you are giving them to much power and its ruining the web you don't need to have your bookmarks up in the stupid cloud its just someone else's Server you can sync with Brave and Firefox even Vavidi has this feature oh yes Google Chrome is breaking adblockers soon Brave said they will countine to support it I stopped using Google Chrome over a year ago why are so yo attached to them what are they your MOM!? You know you can easily bring over bookmarks to any browser right you can even export them for all I see is that your just letting Google get Millions if not Billions of dollars off you like a dumbie bag. Luckily I stopped using that NPC Crap a year ago.
- Okay just find good mods to enable Window boarders there are mods out there windhawk.net/mods/force-thick-frames like this one here
- Yeah I was too harsh
How do you seriously not know how to find the info of your Ram and GPU it can all be found on the Task Manager just hold Esc Shift and Ctrl ad go to the performance tab of Task Manager and there you will find all the info like how dumb does anyone have to be with their computers not to know this basic info!
Reading this and then seeing that you use Brave makes so much sense. Not to dish Eggcorn, but you're ripping on what seems to be someone young and new to the Windows theming scene. Don't trash him when he literally admitted in his post that it was a "trash windows 7" recreation. I've been a diehard Firefox user all my life but I can see the appeal towards Chromium now that Firefox is banning addons like OldTwitter. Still, there are so so so many better Chromium forks than Brave. The amount of resources Chromium browsers use is insane. Reading through all your posts now makes it obvious your probably younger than Eggcorn.

There are literally build flags in the Chromium source documentation meant for Google Employees only to compile Chrome builds. Which makes sense, because Chrome is based on Chromium. This absolutely does not mean that all Chrome code is open-source. What's closed source isn't the base, it's all the blobs that Google adds. Here's a good explanation of the differences between the two browsers : askubuntu.com/questions/6253/whats-the-difference-between-google-chrome-and-or-chromium-what-are-the-advantSaying that Google Chrome is open-source is false ; Chrome is partly open-source, partly closed-source.

Google is intentionally removing support for preventing extensions from dynamically blocking content (like trackers or advertising). On the other hand, it is still possible to manually install OldTwitter on Firefox.

It is, but not permanently on stock because Firefox removes unsigned addons at startup. I think you can on the Firefox nightly/LTS version and other forks, but I don't want to migrate off my stock browser. I wish Pale Moon supported WebExtensions...

it’s windows 11 22h2 i can’t do anything about it 🙄 I have some questions to ask I don't wanna sound rude or anything and I have some things to say: - Why are you using Windows 11 that OS is for turds
- Why aren't you using ThemePatcher or Stockdock?
- Why are you using Shitoogle Chrome? Why not just use a better browser like Brave, Firefox, or Vavidi just type the names of these browsers into Google easypasy just like that as 1, 2, and 3
- You know you can use things like Windhawk right? To Mod Windows even further and make it less shit cause we all know Windows 11 ain't winning any kind of cintest here its way inferior to Windows 10 which that is way way way more inferior compared to the superior Windows 7 and XP right you could even be using Linux right now...
- Just ask for help when theming Windows your job just looks so freaking hideous it burns my eyes 👀 you did a good job of trying to make people go blind lol you can use things like ExploererPatcher to make Windows 11 better just go to Vapaeronce on DevianartArt he has the Windows 7 Theme with the boarders
I was very hash kinda but really I think you just need to do a better job.
How the F*** do you not know your GPU dude like come on here open Task Manger dude its the most basic thing I feel your skills and intelligence is lower on the chain with Computer and Technology in the way you use it, your a Tech Noob Task Manager can tell you what your Ram and GPU is its not that hard you go into the performance tab come on dude why the h3ll do I have to hold your hand!? Please develop your Tech Skills its not that hard YouTube can tech you how to get better at this stuff. Tone it down. Read up on the rules: winclassic.net/thread/2/rules. Only warning.

Please stop typing in run-on sentences it is a chore to read. Sorry I'm just super aggressive. I used chocolatey to install it this was a while back ago I made sure the SHA256 Matched I would use Waterfox if their was an easier way to find the original hash I used Power Shell to check the hash of Waterfox I paste it into the Search Engine and got nothing good. The Hash is Broken on Waterfox or don't provide the right one...? I really wonder if there is another way to check Waterfox hashes there always wrong or mismatched from the ones I get in Power Shell back in 2022 and 2023 they where working juts fine it was only mid 2023 they don't work as intended so if you can help me with finding the official hashes on Waterfox that would be great. Is Waterfox comprised? They should find a better way to give official hashes cause when I download it and use Get - Hash on Power Shell it gives me an output and I copy the hash from their site and paste it into Notepad they don't match that worries me so I dump it and just stick to the 2 browsers I'm using right now but I really want Waterfox. Yes I do check it brave.com/signing-keys/#windows

That article itself says it's only temporary on stock Firefox after v44
