Action Center, Action Center CPL and .MUI files are taken from Windows 8.1. If your system locale is not on en-US, download Windows 8.1 in your language and find the MUI files. It's needed dui41.dll and dui41.dll.mui. The action center are you seeing is from Windows 10 1909. The CPL you are seeing is from the real Windows 8.1. Attachments:8.1.zip (2.82 MB)

Hey, don't say that. It's fixed the action center. We already have threads talking about this,they are known to be restorable for a long time. The 8.1 flyout works without issues. But 8.1 action center page is very unstable,it will cause explorer crashes when you close the window after going to the cpl page. |

Hey, don't say that. It's fixed the action center. We already have threads talking about this,they are known to be restorable for a long time. The 8.1 flyout works without issues. But 8.1 action center page is very unstable,it will cause explorer crashes when you close the window after going to the cpl page. It fixes copying dui40.dll and dui40.dll.mui from Windows 8.1, going to HxD or another hex editor, opening ActionCenterCPL.dll, finding dui40.dll, changing the string dui40.dll to dui41.dll, save the file, rename ActionCenterCPL.dll to the same name plus .old or .bak, copy it to System32 and SysWOW64 if you are using 64 bit OS and do the same steps for ActionCenter.dll |

So if i get this right, you just took the 8.1 files and pre-patched them? TBH, I prefer patching stuff manually. And yeah, this is already known about.

First, i took ActionCenter.dll, ActionCenterCPL.dll, dui40.dll and their MUI files from Windows 8.1. dui40.dll and his mui file are renamed to dui41.dll and dui41.dll.mui. For making the CPL to work, i wrote the steps of modifying files with HxD or another hex editor. |
