I don't know if this should be in Software General but i guessing it maybe is I found a way to get Startisback++ to work properly in windows 11here are the steps1. install explorerpatcher and get the windows 10 taskbar before installing startisback2. install startisback++thats all you have to do this is what it looks like for me oh and also, if you use open shell, uncheck Replace start button
dont use windowblinds, it will literally glitch out startisback so bad
use your own start button in Startisback++ settings Attachments:

I don't understand, I run StartAllBack fine with Win 11 out of the box. What's the difference between it and StartIsBack?

Startallbacks goal is optimizing Windows 11 UI, while Startisbacks main goal is restoring Windows 7 Like Taskbar and Start menu. They do similar stuff but the options they offer and the results they are targeting is different.

Openshell is designed to work with 11 too,SIB is designed to work on 10 only. so how can i use openshell to make the taskbar and startmenu more similiar to 7?thanks The styles we have now need to be edited to be more close to 7. The closest theme in Openshell is Win7Like and its still extremely inaccurate. You can put a blank orb into SIB/SAB and then use a custom orb with openshell. This will let you use SIB/SAB for taskbar and openshell for start menu.

I did not realize Windows 7 taskbar in 11 was that easy. This is amazing.

I did not realize Windows 7 taskbar in 11 was that easy. This is amazing. I think the best part is how seamlessly it integrates with the taskbar. RetroBar i'm pretty sure is a straight up replacement, this feels like they just slapped a theme on the taskbar, but a really good theme.
