I wrote a small program that allows you to switch between basic and aero visual styles via personalisation page in control panel Works only with OpenGlass this is a very early version
Instruction:
1. OpenGlass dir should be "C:\OpenGlass" 2. Install Basic Themer and DWM Unextend Frames mods from Windhawk 3. Place basic.theme to C:\Windows\Resources\Ease of Access Themes 4. Сonfigure basichook.exe to run at startup with admin privileges
Changelog: 1.0 (2024/09/15)

This works seamlessly so far; if the source code for the exe could also be included, that could prove to be useful as well, but otherwise this can be considered already neat for an automated basic theme switcher concept. : )

you can also make this restart dwm after enabling Basic themer and dwm unextended frames to apply the changes entirely and when applying a non basic theme for example aero.theme it restarts dwm after disabling Basic themer and dwm unextended frames to enable the dwm effects

I think that it needs to be done so that it switches the setting "use only in secure desktop" and it switches the theme to the standard one, it needs to be fixed, well and you need to write a mod for windhawk so that this theme uses the bitmap of the basic theme from themeui.dll

but how can i use both aero theme and basic theme?because i install the DBG and the taskbar has aero effect.but when i change to the basic theme,the taskbar still has the aero.Any way to get both of them?
