So when I was in the windows recovery environment with cmd, I noticed it did the xp style animation of minimizing and maximizing, is it possible to get this animation applied to any window in the desktop?

You can only get it if you disable DWM. That brings a lot of it's own issues though.

You can only get it if you disable DWM. That brings a lot of it's own issues though. Is it possible to force it to play the animation with DWM? a recreation would be fine for me.

Some have done it before. Myself though I don't have much idea about it. Well there was a windowFX 7 style close/open animation, maybe someone could do the same with minimize/maximize?
