Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice on how to achieve a retro or Aero-themed look for my office suite, specifically in Microsoft Office, ONLYOFFICE, or LibreOffice. I love the classic feel of older Word versions, but I’m aware that they have major security vulnerabilities.
I’d appreciate any tips on:
Customizing Microsoft Office for a retro look (themes, skins, etc.). Finding or creating themes for ONLYOFFICE or LibreOffice Any other recommendations for office suites that are actively updated
Thanks in advance for your help!

Libreoffice in itself looks like old office if you disable the Ribbon.

It'll only have the layout of an older version of Office, but not the look. The icons and so on will still be modern. BUT you can install icon packs, one of them is I believe a classic icon pack, that should work fine.

I use Office 97 + LibreOffice for anything remotely modern.

I mostly use office 2003 and 2007, but there is a pretty nice 9x theme for libre office, I don't remember from where though, I think I got it off github

You could use OpenOffice. It is basically LibreOffice, but it takes the system theme rather than a pre-designed look, so if you are using a retro theme with Windows, it should work perfectly.
