i have a windows xp theme on my computer running windows 10. i have an almost perfect file explorer but this ribbon! how do i remove it?

will it conflict with my windowblinds? Yes, don't use WindowBlinds. Use UltraUXTheme or SecureUXTheme and Luna10 with a Basic Themer installed instead, it's much more accurate and doesn't cause as many issues as WindowBlinds, plus, it's free. Also, if that's FindeXer you're using for the sidebar, uninstall it, Luna10 includes its own fully-functional sidebar.
