View AttachmentI had this same issue when I used Windows 11. As far as I know, the only bypass is to either downgrade to 11 21H2, or to use standard transparency in Open-Shell settings instead of Glass.

how do i use standard transparency? Open Open-Shell Settings from the start orb's context menu, or from the start menu all programs list. Make sure show all settings is enabled, and then, search for "glass". From there, simply DISABLE "Enable menu glass".

looked at my Windows 7 themed laptop (running windows 10) it also doesn't give off any aero effect no matter if the glass effect was on or off

looked at my Windows 7 themed laptop (running windows 10) it also doesn't give off any aero effect no matter if the glass effect was on or off I think an alternate solution would be to use explorer7 on your Windows 7 themed laptop (You WILL need a Windows 7 ISO file for explorer7 to work). To have the aero transparency effects to work for explorer7, you'll need AWM and OpenGlass Legacy, so that way you won't have to worry about using Open-Shell (unless if you're using a Vista theme). But as for Open-Shell's aero effect, it might be because you have the opacity high, lowering it should work.
