So following the news that Chrome will be removing add-on support I finally decided to make the jump to Firefox 56. But theres a small issue that breaks the experience for me. Any fixes for this?

"So following the news that Chrome will be removing add-on support" where did you find this info? Not all extensions. Only the ones not offered in the Web Store. Wether they remove it or not it's still a better idea to switch to Firefox.

How to fix this is well described in multiple places on this forum.

So I did that. While the transparency is fixed, everything else is broken. Broken stuff so far: -Back button icon is missing. -Can't click on anything in the menu. -Entire customization screen is broken. Thats all i've found so far.

I dragged the win8-classic-fix.xpi into firefox like the post about it said. Firefox restarted and everything broke.

I dragged the files into C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox and now Firefox loads up with these errors:
"The ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\dwm_rdr.dll.
Followed by:
"Couldn't load XPCOM."

Ok I downloaded the windows 10 ones and it now gives a different message:
"The ordinal 2635 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Programs Files\Mozilla Firefox\dwm_rdr.dll."
Followed by the same XPCOM error.

What version of Windows 10 are you using?
Try renaming a copy of dwmapi.dll from system32 to dwm_rdr.dll, and replace the one in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ with that.

Firefox became a total mess. Try changing the theme. Disable the .xpi extension you have installed (it is designed for earlier Firefox version). I do not use Firefox, I recommend K-Meleon/Goanna or PaleMoon. PaleMoon:

Pale Moon is best browser IMO

If you're using Firefox 56, I could see about whipping up a theme based on the latest CSS files. I'm not sure if that'll fix the issue, but it could be worth a shot.
I would recommend using K-Meleon or Pale Moon (which is what I'm using now) as previously mentioned. You'll have much better support in the long run, and more customization options than Chrome or Firefox Quantum.
