Is it possible, via the registry? I mean, most of the old Control Panel items are still there, just inaccessible unless you create shortcuts to them. Would it be possible to re-direct them back, in replace of the new W10 UWP/Metro versions which took their place? I'm staying on ver 1709, so I don't have to worry about updates reversing what I do, I just want to know if it's possible. Any help/insight would be appreciated.

There is no "all items" thing in Win10? I'm pretty sure what clasurol means is to not have the Control Panel options bring you to the Settings app.

There is no "all items" thing in Win10? A lot of them point to the Settings app now though, yet their "classic" counterparts are still there, but only accessible via "Run" or creating Shortcuts. I want to know if it's possible to reverse it Control Panel acts like it does in W7, and no control panel option leads to the UWP Settings app.

What happens when application host process is not running? OK, I deleted that within Task Manager and tried running a Control Panel item that links to the UWP Settings app, but Application Frame Host turned itself back on, and UWP Settings still came up.

Well, naturally one should expect this, don't you agree? What if you disable AFH by remaning its executeble, for instance?

OK, I took possession of the file, renamed it, logged out and logged back in. Tried running a Control Panel item that usually loads the UWP Settings, and now I get nothing. Nothing loads now.

I'm pretty sure Classic Shell has it's own Control Panel but I don't know which shortcuts lead to UWP and which lead to Control Panel stuff. Ill let you folks know. Results: Green: Control Panel Red: Doesn't open anything and gives a failed to load error. Blue: Settings Purple: Custom Program I used a couple of Winaero tweaks to restore some control panel options so your results may be different.
