When using the classic theme on 8.1, when clicking things on the taskbar, if you move your cursor to the very bottom of the screen and click it, it doesn't work (because it seems as though the cursor is below the item). On Windows 7 and before, you could click with the cursor all the way down and it would still work. Is there some fix for this on 8.1? I quickly move my cursor around when using the taskbar and this would be a great quality of life upgrade.

The way this works in 7 is when you click at the bottom of the taskbar, it automatically shifts the cursor up just enough to touch the item on the taskbar. It only does this in the classic theme in 7, as all other themes have taskbar items which extend all the way to the bottom. Is there some way to get this functionality in 8.1?

Not AFAIK, unfortunately.

anixx made an AutoHotKey script to fix this at one point, however if I remember correctly it was incompatible with newer versions of Classic Shell. I don't recall if that was ever fixed.
