Hi, I was wondering if anybody has or can make for me an AHK script that specifically disables Explorer's "quick tools" thing. If it matters, I'm using Windows 7. screenie for reference: I'm sure a script existed here somewhere but I have no idea where to find it.

I have never heard of a script to hide that toolbar, however it is possible to do it by modifying shellstyle.dll in System32. Here is a link to a tutorial on how to do that: www.askvg.com/how-to-make-folder-band-auto-hidden-in-windows-vista/This is the method I use, and it works pretty well for me. I'd be kind of curious to see what an AHK script to achieve this would look like though.

A script that removes it instead of editing DLL's. Wouldn't be too hard to make right?
