back in the day we loathed this webby interface of win98 the 95 version was best of 9x but xp allowed you to get the throbber off you rightclick on an empty space you could disable and enable what you wanted i miss that

Meh, not the same, but close enough to fill the void: Can you please tell me, step by step, how you made file explorer look like this? Specifically, I mean the buttons at the top (back/forward, etc.). If you used Resource Hacker or something else, can you please provide the images required? |

Buttons at the top are Classic Explorer (which is a part of Classic Shell/Open Shell). Sure no problem, here it is. It's not perfect, but it's the best I can do. Just make sure you have all buttons except the Go one unticked like this, if you want the address bar to look like mine.  Attachments:Classic2K.dll (380 KB)

Can't register even when ran as admin Most likely it's trying to run the wrong regsvr32 for your system - edit register.bat and try changing "regsvr32" so it reads either "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32" or "C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32". |
