Problem with 16 x 16 icons in windows title bar and taskbar

I use Customizer God to change a lot of icons, but some of them, instead of using the 16 x 16 version of that .ico file I replaced the original with, windows decides to use the biggest icon of the .ico file, which is 48 x 48 or 32 x 32 (I'm not sure if it uses the 32 x 32 one if the .ico file has both), and downscales it and it looks like garbage. For example, this happens with one of the icons.

The thing is that's not the icon that appears when it's shown in the taskbar and windows title bar

It looks like crap
What actually makes me mad is the fact that when using any program like windows Explorer, all the icons are shown as they should inside the program. I have no idea why this is happening and it'd be great to solve it.
