I don't understand why I have blackscreen when disabling dwm with Process Explorer. If I run the monitor on VGA instead of DVI->HDMI I don't have that. I tried everything with running a rundll as DWM, deleting Themes folder, replacing winlogon with a console logon. I have 2 monitors - one running on igpu connected through VGA, because I use it to record gameplays through OBS, and the second on Dedicated GPU running with DVI to HDMI adapter (I don't think the adapter is an issue). I run on Windows 10 1703. PC specs i5 2500, 14gb of ram (3x4gb and 1 stick of 2gb),r7 250x 1gb. Is any solution to this? I would like to run a system without dwm.

Try restarting explorer.exe after killing DWM. Run explorer.exe once in the Run dialog (Win+R or Ctrl+R) before killing DWM, kill explorer.exe, kill DWM, then press Ctrl+R and enter.

bump. Just switched to 1709, disabled some uwp services and removed apps. And disabled dwm works good.
