It crashes for me, sorry. Not sure why, could be my setup. Here's what Visual Studio throws up when I debug it:

I'm wondering if something like this can be done with XP's explorer.
I like the look of that a lot more than 7's. More compact, better clientedge, etc.
The only thing that might turn me away from it would be lack of thumbnails (I think XP didn't have these)

Added basic file/edit actions: Copy, Paste, Rename, Delete, Select All, New Folder.
Recursive directory pasting is not implemented yet.
Browsing directories should be a bit faster now, although folders with 1000+ files still load a lot slower than in Windows Explorer.

This is so cool. Would you consider making one that mimics the Windows 2000 or Windows XP Explorer?

This is so cool. Would you consider making one that mimics the Windows 2000 or Windows XP Explorer? Try Explorer++ (https://explorerplusplus.com/), it even has XP icons. Just hide the bottom Windows 7-like bar at the bottom and disable the Tabs by going to "Tools > Options > Window > Uncheck "Always show the tab bar"" and you now have a replica of the XP Explorer. However, it doesn't have the left pane (Not even 2000's), only the "folders pane" view, and its search is not integrated into the left pane. The search just looks like Windows 98's.

Sadly, this program won't even start for me. I'm running Windows 10 1903 on an i5-9600KF. Looking forward to more stable releases, though!

Sadly, this program won't even start for me. I'm running Windows 10 1903 on an i5-9600KF. Looking forward to more stable releases, though! It could be a problem with the new .mun files introduced in 1903, as on 1809 it works perfectly, on an i7-8565U.
As for the program itself, I have no idea what 95's explorer feels like (I started with Windows 2000), but it looks great, like pictures I have seen of the real 95 explorer! If these features are in 95's explorer, you can add them: - Right click menus - Control Panel support - Opening in the same Window, not in separate windows - Real 95 icons, they all look like 2000. - "Properties"
And that's all I'd like to suggest.
