How do I get the old version of Windows Explorer onto my Windows 7 PC? I want to make it look Windows 98 themed. I also want to get MSN's "Setup MSN Internet Access", My Briefcase, Outlook Express, Connect to the Internet and a folder of Online Services to my PC.

The thing is, Explorer is quite deeply integrated into Windows. If you would want to actually replace Explorer with the one from 98 - well, your best bet were to actually install Windows 98. For alternative file managers, there are a couple of threads on this forum that show file managers made by some forum members to look like 9x's design. For the rest - you could get placebo shortcuts (i.e. ones that don't actually point to anything) for them. Briefcases should still be a thing under Windows 7, so you could technically add one through the right-click menu. Outlook Express may be added by simply copying the program's folder from a Windows XP install disc (or installation if you still have a machine (virtual or physical) with it around).

This is one of them: www.winclassic.net/thread/583/wip-plorer-win95-file-explorer. Considering I've not used Windows in almost nine months, I'm recalling from the top of my head that it ought to be under 'New', at least on the desktop context menu.
