Search box cannot be fixed unless if you open control panel and navigate from there; I have a separate thread on maybe how to disable it. I don't know coding, so I need help. Anyways, is that deskn.cpl? Try downloading the Windows 2000 Control Panel desk.cpl from here: drive.google.com/file/d/122Wz40ac5o4YIVkmkwp0TcSVdxnqi5Bn/view (original thread here: www.winclassic.net/thread/328/classic-taskbar-programs-win10-links ), and try changing your colour scheme using that.BTW, what are those folder icons? They look Vista-ish and pretty cool and I need them. Edit: Don't use ribbon disabler, use OldNewExplorer, which has an option to remove the "up" button. Edit 2: Use deskn.cpl but I really don't know where to actually get it. Just search for "deskn.cpl".

The Display Properties dialog sometimes crashes for me too. Only workaround I know of is to log out and back in and hope it works. It's annoying when it happens; pretty sure it's Nvidia's drivers conflicting with it in my case.

Just use deskn.cpl, aka the "Display Properties" icon on your desktop. Or just download it from here: mega.nz/#!5BgGHR5I!4BH-gKMn6Cu0s1PvVuRs_K9U0eHhsjLvDqhnuH7r1gc (thread that I got this from is here: www.winclassic.net/thread/543/using-basic-theme-killing-dwm ). Unzip it, look in the "src" folder, and you should see deskn.cpl. Try using that instead of the Windows 2000 desk.cpl. It works for me with Nvidia drivers installed. (Geforce MX150, though). Last second edit: Just copy and paste the mega link, the board does not like mega links.

I'm just going to upload it as an attachment: Attachments:deskn.cpl (53.5 KB)
